This week I finished the 3d CAD Design of the project. The actual prints came out very nicely with only one (easily fixable mistake made). The print of the main body took about 19 hours to complete while the smaller end pieces took about 6. The one mistake that I made was that in the design of the lid for the battery case I forgot to leave a little bit of space for the parts to fit together. This "little space" is only about a 10th of an inch. For the connections of the main body to the end pieces I used a 10th of an inch and the pieces practically snap together. We have not assembled the project yet because i have not had the base plate laser engraved however we are expecting to do this tomorrow (monday).Overall the pieces came out nicely and I am excited to assemble all the parts.
