New Idea and Current Competitors

One current technology that is similar to our idea is the Inbody Inkids Portable Ultrasound Stadiometer. This standiometer costs about $155. The product has many poor review involving accuracy and usability. It also seems to be meant for children.

In this project we aim to create a product that is much more accurate and works on children as well as adults. Some more specifications and brainstorming ideas can be seen in the sketch below.
